Big Way

The following terms and conditions form part of this Charter Transportation BigWay contract.

  1. The Parent/Guardian acknowledges and agrees that the student must comply with the School Bus Safety Rules and School Bus Protocol while being transported to and from school whilst there shall be an end to end school bus tracking solution provided by Bigway.
  2. The Parent/Guardian/Student has read and agrees to abide by the School Bus Policy in the Student Handbook as well as in the Real-time school bus tracker in the form of mobile application as provided by Big Way.
  3. All Parents/Guardians shall read and sign the School Bus Agreement prior to receiving bus transportation.
  4. The Parent/Guardian is responsible for the conduct and safety of the student while waiting for and traveling to, from and at the bus stop or the front door pick-up.
  5. Big Way provides Parents/Guardians the ease to track and protect the child, but the same shall not be responsible for the student’s whereabouts more than 15 to 30 minutes post pick up and drop off time.
  6. The parent shall contact Big Way’s assigned team via app/telephone or email within a span of 15 to 30 minutes post pick up and drop off time, in order to inquire about the child’s location after him/her has been picked and dropped off. After the stated time duration Big Way shall not be responsible for the student’s location.
  7. The Parent/Guardian understands that no changes shall be made regarding specific pick-up/ drop-off locations and times without prior written request.
  8. The Parent/Guardian agrees that bus transportation will not be guaranteed if the completed Contract is not returned on or by [Insert Date]. The Parent/Guardian agrees that routes will be determined after all bus information has been received from all families.     18. Understand that the school bus is viewed as an extension of the classroom and student discipline falls under the responsibility of the principal, therefore, students are required to demonstrate the same conduct on the school bus as in the
    19. Cooperate with the school bus driver, Big Way and principal to ensure that the student conducts himself/herself in an appropriate manner on the school bus and take parental responsibility should the need arise if conduct is not appropriate.
    20. Pay for damages resulting from vandalism and/or willful damage to the school bus should the need arise. Remind students about respecting private and personal property when waiting at Big Way designated stop.
